1. Purpose of data processing

Awarity Training Solutions GmbH processes personal data of employees, partners, (potential) customers and suppliers for the purpose of performance business and fulfilling related legal and contractual requirements.

1.1 Processing of personal data of customer and supplier

Awarity processes the personal data provided by interested parties, customers and suppliers for the preparation of offers and the processing of assignments as well as the fulfillment of the associated contractual and legal obligations. To fulfill legal obligations, the data is also forwarded to public authorities and service providers.

1.1.1. Training Platform „Human Firewall“

Upon request by a customer, Awarity provides the training platform “Human Firewall”. In order to be able to provide the platform, Awarity processes personal data of employees of the customers:

  • Corporate e-mail address of the employees of the customer
  • Password of the user account – either chosen by the employee or synced with the active-directory, depending on the chosen authentication method
  • Training progress of the employees
  • System logs and IP addresses as part of the IT operations procedures
1.1.2 Policy Platform „Policy Checker“

Upon request by a customer, Awarity provides the platform “Policy Checker”. In order to be able to provide the platform, Awarity processes personal data of employees of the customers:

  • Corporate e-mail address of the employees of the customer
  • Password of the user account – either chosen by the employee or synced with the active-directory, depending on the chosen authentication method
  • System logs and IP addresses as part of the IT operations procedures

1.2 Applicants

The contact details and application documents submitted in the course of an application will be electronically processed by us for the purpose of selecting suitable candidates for employment.

In case of cancellation, the application documents will only be kept in evidence, if the applicant consents. If no consent is given, the application documents will be deleted 6 months after the cancellation.

1.3 Website & Cookies

1.3.1 IP address

By visiting our website, information is automatically stored on the web server. This includes the browser used to visit our website, the operating system used, the page, that referred to our website, the IP address, the time of access and other information. These data is pseudonymized from Awarity Training Solutions GmbH point of view and cannot be used to identify a unique person without additional data sources.

Awarity does not evaluate this data as long as there is no illegal use of the website.

1.3.2 Google-Analytics

The website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses so-called “cookies”, text files that are stored on your computer and that allow an analysis of the use of the website by you. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website (including your IP address) is transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. The processing of personal data is based on strict principles, which regard the protection and security of the data as well as the rights of the data subject’s as the highest assets.

Data processing is lawful, transparent and fair. Upon collecting the data, the data subject will be informed about the planned processing and handling of the data. Thus, data subjects are informed at least about the following points:

  • Purpose of the data processing

The data is collected and processed for specified, explicit and legitimate purposes. The processing of the data does not take place in a manner incompatible with these purposes.

Storage limitation & erasure

Personal data is deleted as soon as the purpose for which it was originally collected expires, provided there are no legal retention periods that prevent deletion.

All employees of Awarity Training Solutions GmbH are contractually bound to secrecy and are regularly advised and trained on the secure handling of personal and other critical data.

Right to erasure – right to be forgotten

The data subject has the right to demand immediate deletion of the personal data concerning him / her if the legal basis for the processing of the data is missing or omitted, the data processing is objected or the data processing is unlawful and no legal retention periods make deletion impossible.

Awarity Training Solutions GmbH commissioned various processors with specific processing activities. All processors are contractually bound to comply with applicable data protection regulations by a processor agreement.
